Emory Med Art Gala

  • Google Calendar ICS

Each year, PA students at the Emory School of Medicine help to sponsor an Art Gala to highlight artistic expression as an essential component of health and humanity. It is a celebration of creativity and the culture of service that permeates the Emory campus.

Please join us at Emory School of Medicine on April 28, 2018 from 7pm-11pm for a night of art, live music, food, drinks, and a silent auction. The event is cocktail attire. Proceeds from ticket sales and the event's silent auction will benefit our Atlanta-based non-profit medical clinics: South Georgia Farmworker Project and Good Samaritan Clinic. These clinics operate to provide healthcare for underserved populations in the Atlanta community and around the state.

Pre-sale tickets to the event cost $18/person and go towards the PA program's fundraising. Ticket purchases made at the door will cost $20 and this money will go towards to the medical students' fundraising.

**Please purchase ahead of time to support the PA program!**

CALLING ALL ARTISTS AND BUSINESSES! Are you or anyone you know interested in donating artwork or an item to our silent auction? We'd love to feature you or your business! Please contact Vilija Bishop: emoryPAartgala2018@gmail.com

New Blog Post

Check back every Thursday for new blog posts on life, love, and art. This week's blog post will be on art's capacity to capture emotion. I will be sharing with you a new series inspired by five incredible women. This new work aims to capture the sensations of passion, hope, and fulfillment that these women bring me. Here's a sneak peek:
